TUNED FOR A 12" BARREL

    • Multi-Patented, Tumble Upon Impact® design
    • Superior penetration
    • Non lead, Solid Copper Spun SCS®  bullet

Fort Scott Munitions® presents the 8.6 Blackout Sub-Sonic with our advanced Tumble Upon Impact® (TUI®) design, offering superior performance and reliability. This multi-patented ammunition features a solid copper spun SCS® bullet, ensuring excellent penetration and devastating internal damage. Our non-lead, solid copper bullets are machined from premium materials using precision CNC lathes, adhering to the highest quality standards.

Designed for versatility, the 8.6 Blackout Sub-Sonic  excels in hunting, match shooting, and self-defense. The TUI® technology enables the bullet to tumble end-over-end upon impact with water-based tissue, creating a more effective and destructive wound channel. With consistent quality and performance, trust Fort Scott Munitions® for reliable results every time you pull the trigger.

If your choice of ammunition is not solid copper or brass, we recommend that you clean your barrel thoroughly before shooting solid copper or brass. Cleaning your barrel will improve accuracy and performance with the solid monolithic ammunition.

PERTAINING TO CERTAIN CALIBERS

Repeated cycling of an unfired cartridge rounds could cause the projectile’s crimp to fail and the bullets to become loose. This oftentimes is more popular with larger monolithic projectiles due to a smoother surface.

With AR10 ( NOT MIL-SPEC) platforms not carrying the same specifications as AR15 (MIL-SPEC) platforms, we recommend polishing your firearms feed ramp before usage of the firearm and check the headspace of your firearm.

Good ammo very consistent

Bought 200 rounds....but was apprehensive because of reviews...
My honest opinion here....on 50 of 200 rounds shot.

All of mine were subsonic (not checked with chrono or dec meter...checked with ear)

The powder charge is consistent (not checked with chrono....I know because of the grouping at 200 yards!

I see the negative reviews on different sites and I see or assume "things" that dont add up and make me laugh or just make me roll my eyes. Primers with extremely light and inconsistent pin indentions...shooting out of what barrel?.....so you bought 20 rounds and shot 20 rounds all though your chrono....

Seems like everyone piloting a negative review of this online all have chronograph and or decible meter readings......

Interesting....lol

I have a rifle, supressor, ear and targets at 100 200 and 300 yards.....is good ammo for me!

Horrible Quality

I recently went shooting with this ammo. Out of 1 box, 9 cartridges did not fire. The primer had been indented on all of them. I rechambered them all to see if I could get them to fire but it did not work. On top of those 9, I had 3-4 more that had the same issue but ended up firing on the second try. For $70 a box ($3.50 a shot and $31.50 wasted), I would expect them to at least go off. I have never bought worse ammo in my life.

Not Subsonic!

Just shot 20 rounds and 2 were subsonic, the rest were not. I’m disappointed, as the only reason I have this caliber is to shoot subsonic. Wish I would have bought less. I was using a 12” faxon barrel. Positive is that they all cycled well in a ar-10 platform.

Super sonic

Half a box fired thru 12.5” Bear creek pistol AR10 not subsonic. Grouped excellent. Breaking the sound barrier is a deal breaker for me while shooting hogs
