Lt. Hawkins Brew: Rwanda Gatatu
The Hawkins Brew is a rotating, single-origin coffee selected for its excellent characteristics and seasonality and is roasted in honor of Lieutenant William Hawkins, USMCR.
Lt. Hawkins was born here in Fort Scott, Kansas and served as a sniper platoon commander in the Battle of Tarawa in WWII. Hawkins was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for his heroism at Tarawa.

Origin: From the Gisagara District in Rwanda, the Lt. Hawkins brew is from small, family-owned farms and is processed by an NGO fighting poverty in the region. A richly-bodied cup with notes of brown sugar, vanilla, and sour apple.
