Unbelievable Terminal Performance and Accuracy

    • Patented, Tumble Upon Impact® design
    • Superior penetration
    • Non lead, SCS® (solid copper spun) bullet

From the tree stand to the shooting mat, the 6.5 Grendel from Fort Scott Munitions® boasts unparalleled ballistic performance. Our lead free Tumble Upon Impact® (TUI®) design leaves devastating wound channels resulting in clean, ethical kills, and our CNC machined Solid Copper Spun (SCS®) bullets are guaranteed to hit your target time and time again. Whether you’re out waiting on a 200 inch deer to walk by your stand, or competing for first place in a PRS match, our multi-purpose 6.5 Grendel ammunition is guaranteed to hit right on the mark.

Unrivaled Performance

Our multi-patented Tumble Upon Impact® (TUI®) design was built with the hunter in mind. The projectile is designed to punch through hard objects such as bone, but once it comes into contact with soft tissue, it begins tumbling immediately resulting in massive wound channels. The hydro-static shock caused by the tumbling bullet is enough to disrupt and/or shut down surrounding organs, providing you with a clean, ethical kill.

Ballistic Excellence

When you need to really reach out and touch something, our CNC machined, Solid Copper Spun® (SCS®) loads are right on target. Each projectile is individually machined out of solid copper bar stock. When loaded, these rounds are guaranteed to be within + or - .2 of a thousandth, giving you the quality of hand loaded munitions inside a factory round. When you only get one shot, make sure yours is on the mark with the 6.5 Grendal or from Fort Scott Munitions®.

WARNING

Do not engage targets on or near hard to clean surfaces.

My family has taken two blacktail deer this season with these rounds. The exit wounds were shockingly destructive while the entrance wound and meat loss was minimal. One was taken at 50 yards and the other at 150 yards with identical performance. Was frustrated with more traditional rounds that mushroom and don't exit leaving no blood anywhere to track. I am a believer in this product! Now if I could just find more to purchase

I recently built a 6.5 Grendel. Took a year because I spared no expense on parts. Faxon match barrel and all the other goodies along with a Vortex Strike Eagle MRAD. I could not find ammo for over six months. Finally, I found some Ft. Scott ammo an hour away at a very cool gun store. I bought 3 boxes for 120 bucks. Biggest waste of money I have ever made. Honestly, I could get a tighter shot group with my Remington 870 Supermag Modified. Your ammo failed to feed so many times, I would have been better off having a bolt gun. I had to actually clear the spent casing 90% of the time. Just would not eject. Accuracy sucked balls. I could throw a rock and have a higher hit ratio. This rifle is capable of 1 inch shot roups at 300 meters. Your ammo is not. Throwing the bullets would have been more accurate. I typically shoot around 3k rounds a year among several calibers. 30% of that is 22 lr. I will NEVER buy a single round from your company ever again - even if my life depended on it - which I honestly believe that your ammo would fail at the moment of truth. I have ten rounds left after trying to sight in the scope and they will end up in the burn pile - yea, I won't run a single Ft. Scott round through any firearm I own ever again. Your ammo is garbage. Period. And for the price - 2 bucks a round, is highway robbery. I learned a 120 dollar lesson - don't buy Ft. Scott ammo. Better off just burning the cash instead.
