Accurate and Ethical
Speed and accuracy kills when it comes to predator hunting, and Fort Scott Munitions® 55 gr SCS® 5.56 TUI® delivers both with authority. Our precision machined solid copper projectiles are pushed to velocities of up to 3426 fps, and are loaded with the utmost care to give you some of the tightest tolerances in the industry when it comes to factory loads. Coupled with our multi-patented Tumble Upon Impact® technology, you get one of the most lethal match grade predator hunting and self defense rounds on the market.
Fort Scott Munitions® Tumble Upon Impact® technology delivers devastating terminal ballistics. Once the projectile comes into contact with soft tissue it will begin to tumble, causing massive amounts of damage due to hydro-static shock. The high degree of energy transfer is enough to tear vital organs and disrupt major bodily functions, while also mitigating the risks of over-penetration.
Enjoy the freedom to hunt anywhere! These monolithic, solid copper projectiles are non lead, and can be used where lead ammunition is prohibited.

I wish the velocity was higher! Very consistent comparable to Hornady v-max, but much slower causing point of impact to be 3.5 inches lower than v-max. Still shoots .25 MOA in my rifle.
Starting with the highest quality components including the innovative and precise bullet, to the flawless feeding in my AR, to the very nice recoil, and finally to the absolutely incredible performance in tissue testing. This round has thoroughly impressed me.
I bought this ammo at my local gun shop and was pleasantly surprised on how it shoots. It performed better than Hornady A-max 55gr. My Rock River AR-15 loves it. It shoots dime size 3 shot groupings at 100 and 200 yards. I haven't used it on any animals yet but I'm going to use this ammo for coyotes and deer. So I'll update my review later.
